Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2022 (Part One) is set to be released in theaters on October 7, 2022. It was originally supposed to land in April 2022 but, like every other movie to be released in the last 18 months, the ongoing pandemic delayed its release.

As long as there are no more hiccups, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse shouldn’t be delayed again. After all, work has been ongoing since November 2018, so its production should be close to the finish line. Here’s hope, anyway.

After the first-look trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse showed Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy back together and traveling through the multiverse, before meeting Miguel O’Hara, the possibility of a wider range of heroes appearing in the sequel seems more likely, and new and familiar faces have already been confirmed to appear.

As the trailer confirmed, Oscar Isaac will return as Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099, following his appearance in the first film’s post-credits scene.

If Velez returns, we can also assume that Brian Tyree Henry will return as Miles’ father, Jefferson Davis, while Jake Johnson revealed in July 2021 that he will return as Miles’ mentor, Peter B Parker.

“I’d like to know what happens with Peter B Parker. I think the way he ended his journey in the first movie was very open,” he explained.

“So when I found out they were working on a deal and figuring it all out, I thought, ‘I really can’t wait to see what the writers come up with.’ I’m curious to see what their home life is like.” it is like.”

It’s also been said that Kathryn Hahn could return as Doc Ock in a larger role, and we also know that Issa Rae is in the sequel. It is rumored that she will play Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman, but this has yet to be confirmed.
