The 2022 movie season is finally kicking off, and one of the most animated movies of the year is Sonic the Hedgehog 2, based on the classic video game franchise of the same name. The sequel is fast approaching, and with less than two months to go until its April release, Paramount has released a new poster to promote the film.

The highly colorful poster features the entire cast, including Ben Schwartz’s Sonic, Colleen O’Shaughnessey’s Tails, Idris Elba’s Knuckles, James Marsden’s Tom (aka Donut Lord), and Tika Sumpter’s Maddie. Looming over them all is Jim Carrey’s evil Dr. Robotnik, glorious giant mustache and all, seeking revenge against Sonic after defeating him in the first film. Following the fairly successful release of Sonic the Hedgehog, director Jeff Fowler and several other cast members expressed interest in developing a sequel that would incorporate more elements from the Sonic games, with it notably being revealed that James Marsden signed on for several sequels. of the game. movie.
