If you’re a 90’s Kid you must have remembered the Indian superhero that we all loved. well guess what. he is coming back, our dearest superhero Shaktimaan.
Sony Pictures India has recently uploaded a announcement trailer confoming that shatimaan is going to be in production soon. It is rumoured to be including some big names, which is yet to be confirmed.
Shaktimaan is an Indian Hindi-language superhero television show that aired on DD National from 13 September 1997 to 27 March 2005. Producer Mukesh Khanna played the role of Shaktimaan and his alter ego “Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastriji”, a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz.
For the project, Sony Pictures International Production joined forces with Mukesh Khanna’s Brewing Thoughts Private Limited and Bheeshm International. The studio has also confirmed that the film will be headlined by “one of India’s superstars”.
Sony Pictures International Production has explained that it will share more details about the Shaktimaan movie soon. The studio has not confirmed any release date for the Shaktimaan film.
Shaktimaan was an Indian superhero television show that began airing on DD National in September 1997. The show was very popular with Indian audiences and ran for many seasons, ending in 2003.
