Stars: Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Xolo Maridueña

Netflix’s Cobra Kai 2022 Season 5 has been a huge hit since it hit the streaming service, with season 5 coming on September 9. To celebrate this announcement, Netflix released the first trailer for the show and things have gone crazy.

Cobra Kai is now a growing business with Silver opening multiple dojos throughout the valley. Of course, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) wants to stop this, and he’s teaming up with Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) to do it. Lawrence is on his own mission to try to find Miguel.

Other Cobra Kai stars include Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Jacob Bertrand as Hawk, Gianni Decenzo as Demetri, Vanessa Rubio as Carmen, Peyton List as Tory, and Dallas Dupree Young as Kenny. . Cobra Kai is written and produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.

We don’t have John Kreese (Martin Kove) in the trailer because, well, he’s in jail. But with Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), the guy who put it there, still in town, there’s a lot of kick-based violence.

“The only thing better than a full dojo is a whole valley of full dojos,” Silver says through a voiceover to separate the season 4 recap from the new footage. It seems that San Fernando, California is once again in karate fever, and with no Miyagi-Do to turn to, Cobra Kai is in full expansion mode.

At the end of Season 4, spoilers for anyone unaware, Cobra Kai had won the 51st Annual All-Valley Karate Tournament, and in its wake, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) turned on Kreese ( Martin Kove) and had him arrested. Now, Silver is in full control of the dojo. Also, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) has moved away from karate to repair all the damage he has caused, especially with Miguel (Xolo Maridueña).
