Netflix has released the official trailer for Boo, Bitch 2022, an eight-episode live-action young adult comedy limited series from Erin Ehrlich and Lauren Iungerich.

Lana Condor (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before) stars in the series as Erica Vu, a high school senior who has lived her life safely under the radar. Over the course of one night, she seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life, only to find out the next morning… that she’s a fucking ghost.

In addition to Condor, the cast also includes Zoe Colletti, Mason Versaw, Aparna Brielle, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, and Jason Genao. Writers Ehrlich and Iungerich created a new version of an original script chosen by newcomers and co-creators Tim Schauer and Kuba Soltysiak.

Many stories revolve around events that change the main character’s life, but a new limited series on Netflix is taking this idea a bit more literally. Boo, Bitch is a supernatural comedy about a high school student ready to come out of her shy flower shell. She just doesn’t know that the shell is her physical form. As high school draws to a close, high school senior Erika Vu (Lana Condor) decides now is the time to live the life of her dreams and gets involved in a wild night out. Everything turns out better than she could have imagined except for one small detail: when she wakes up the next day, she is dead! Now that she is a ghost, Erika Vu has to figure out a few things, mainly how to tie up some of the loose ends she left in her life.

Her new non-corporeal form of hers comes with an advantage: if she wasn’t popular in high school, she seems to be now. Erica has decided that her recent death will be the perfect catalyst to catapult her into influencer fame and keep her out of the catacombs.
